LeadAmerica partners and collaborates with leading colleges and universities throughout the United States to offer college immersion programs designed to better prepare students academically and emotionally for the transition to college life and beyond.
LeadAmerica high school conferences are college-accredited, and all curricula have been approved by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) for the eighth consecutive year.
Students who attend a LeadAmerica Conference can:
Gain a first-hand perspective of college and how to succeed there;
Participate in interactive workshops, off-campus trips and insightful lectures from distinguished faculty;
Earn up to two college credits without any additional coursework or papers (high school only);
Enjoy an overall experience that students have referred to as the single most important step they took in their preparation for college admission;
Experience on-campus living at a leading U.S. school, meet new people and make lasting friendships from around the world;
Work in small groups, learning the importance of teamwork and cooperation
Discover that they truly do have what it takes to be a leader.
Conferences are 5, 8 and 10 days and are held throughout the summer. Students may choose from prestigious campuses including Stanford, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, and many others.

“I would have to say that my trip to LeadAmerica was a life-changing experience. Special thanks to my Guidance Counselor, Mr. Harrison for recommending me to LeadAmerica. I was honored to be the only student representing my high school.”
