LeadAmerica
has partnered with one of the leading
international exchange organizations,
Friendship Force International (FFI).
Established as a nonprofit cultural
exchange program in 1977 with the active
support of President Jimmy Carter,
FFI is now active in 58 countries around
the world. The hallmark of FFI programs
is the direct people-to-people connections
that are established through home-stay
opportunities. For one or two days
of each program, each student will
be placed with a carefully selected,
English-speaking Russian family with
a host "brother" or "sister" of
about the same age as the visiting LeadAmerica student.
