BOSTON, MA, Bentley College
WASHINGTON, DC, American University

PALO ALTO , CA, Stanford University

Learn the law at DISCOVER LAW & THE COURTROOM.
Ready to explore the law and fight for justice? In Discover Law & the Courtroom, you’ll explore various facets of the American legal system, and delve into criminal & civil law with practicing attorneys and law professors as your mentors. Once engaged with the subject matter, you’ll put it into practice by considering ethical issues, crafting oral arguments, and questioning “witnesses.” The law will come to life when you attend lectures and roundtable sessions with prominent lawyers, judges, and law-enforcement experts, and hear first hand how the law affects our lives everyday.

Present your own case to the court.
There’s nothing so exhilarating as arguing a case or cross-examining a key witness, especially when you do it in an actual courtroom before real law professors and your peers. In our simulation scenarios, students act as either prosecutors or defense attorneys in trial simulations endorsed by the American Mock Trial Association. While you’re cross-examining a witness or making a closing argument, you’ll be learning how to think on your feet, argue persuasively, and respond to questions. Learn how to analyze evidence, prepare witnesses for trial, and answer questions from a judge. Win your first care at Discover Law & the Courtroom and the real courtroom won’t be far ahead.
