Theatre Arts

Find your inspiration on Broadway.

Whether you’d like to write, work behind the scenes, perform, or produce dramatic theatre, you’ll find inspiration here at LeadAmerica. This hands-on conference gives you insider access to almost every aspect of this exciting field. From backstage to onstage, our curriculum covers topics like playwriting, improv, musical theatre, and more. If your dream is to perform, you can start down the path by developing your actor’s voice and learning what it takes to “make it.”. If you’re interested in nonperforming roles, you can learn about directing or theatre management. Whatever angle you pursue, you’ll learn from theatre educators, playwrights, actors, and casting directors working in the industry today.

Hone your craft in vibrant New York City.

If you’re ready to live and breathe the performing arts, there’s no better place than New York. You’ll experience the magic of Broadway while gaining a rich understanding of various aspects of this business. Enjoy the camaraderie of theatre life in daily workshops covering topics like: playwriting, improvisation, and auditioning.

By the time you’ve completed the conference, you’ll know how to write, rehearse, direct, and perform a short performance. Working with a partner or in groups, you’ll feel the contagious energy of the performance.
