THEATER ARTS

10 Days

Email page to a Friend
NEW YORK, NY – Fordham University

Find your inspiration on Broadway.
Whether you’d like to write, work behind the scenes, perform, or produce dramatic theatre, you’ll find inspiration in the Big Apple. This hands-on conference gives you insider access to almost every aspect of this exciting field. From backstage to onstage, our curriculum covers topics like production, performance, designing, and more. If your dream is to perform, you can start down the path by developing your actor’s voice and learning what it takes to “make it.”. If you’re interested in nonperforming roles, you can learn about directing or theatre management. Whatever angle you pursue, you’ll learn from professional set designers, producers, actors, and theatre administrators working in the industry today.

Hone your craft in New York City.
If you’re ready to live and breathe the theatre arts, there’s no better place than New York City. You’ll experience the magic of Broadway and gain a rich understanding of various aspects of the business. Enjoy the camaraderie of theatre life in daily workshops on playwriting, improvisation, producing, and designing. By the time you’ve completed the conference, you’ll know how to direct a script, create a business plan, and even see what it takes to produce a show. Working with a partner or in groups, you’ll feel the infectious energy of the theatre.
