Curriculum
for this conference
was designed in collaboration
with the Military
College of Georgia
at North Georgia
College and State
University, one of
the nation's senior
military academies.
In this
one-of-a-kind program you will learn
how our national leaders plan for and
develop the elements of our nation's
incredible military power to support
a national security strategy. You willexplore
military strategy within the context
of increasing globalization and the
growing power of non-state actors.
You will also develop an appreciation
of the human side of combat as you
gain an understanding of war at the
lowest level, up close and personal.
And through our Battlefield Simulation
and Leadership Reaction Course
you will experience and develop the
leadership skills that are necessary
to succeed on the battlefield.
BATTLEFIELD
STRATEGY SIMULATION
Imagine planning a major military
operation, where the outcome of the
war and the fate of hundreds of soldiers
are in your hands. What forces will
be used... how will they be deployed...
how will communications be established...
how will the troops receive supplies?
Throughout the Junior War College,
you will learn how to answer these
and many other questions as you participate
in an exciting Battlefield Simulation.
You will learn how to use the Military
Decision Making Process for planning
and implementing a major military
campaign, including force composition
force deployment, logistics, communications,
and intelligence. Then, you will
engage the enemy and learn combat
tactics and strategies first-hand
in our Combat Simulation, using the
latest Paintball equipment used by
cadets at the Military College.
