HIGH SCHOOL CONFERENCES

BUSINESS &
ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Run a major corporation or start a business empire.

Overview

Summer / July
Stanford University / Palo Alto, CA
DePaul University / Chicago, IL
Pace University /New York, NY

Get down to business and discover the real deal behind developing and running a successful enterprise.

This “junior MBA” program will expose you to a curriculum similar to business school, but designed specifically for motivated high school students. You’ll learn what it takes to build a business – from that first great idea to the birth of a successful company. Explore Strategic Management, Marketing, Finance, Business Ethics, and Sustainability as you interact with business leaders, educators, and executives who share firsthand knowledge on how to get the job done.

Lay the foundation in the ENTREPRENEURSHIP SIMULATION.

Working with your peers, you will develop a full-scale business plan and present an executive summary to mock investors – a critical component of any emerging company. Your plan will include everything from concept and product development to marketing, sales, and finance guidelines. You’ll also research the competitive landscape, and make savvy decisions to ensure success.

With thorough training and creative collaboration, you’ll be better prepared in real-world situations than many entrepreneurs. Practice your presentation skills and “sell” your idea – once you’ve done it here, there’s no limit to what you can do “out there.”
