CEO of LS Production Works and former producer of Donahue, Ms. Lillian A. Smith, to address students attending LeadAmerica conferences. Lillian A. Smith, CEO of LS Production Works, served as Media Business Management & Director of Development for Big Score Entertainment, LLC (BSE Recordings) – Indie Record Label and one of the Executive Producers of BSE Recordings first signed artist Arika Kane’s single CD single releases, Why Did We Fall N Luv and Bcuz I Luv U. Lillian Smith has over 25 years experience in the broadcasting industry, specializing in television production, television development series and documentaries. She began her professional career in the television broadcasting industry contributing almost 2 decades with the Emmy Award Winning “talk/news” television program, DONAHUE. In 1992, while producing the Donahue Show, Ms. Smith teamed up with Phil Donahue as Coordinating Producer for PBS Television’s Presidential Special: “The Issue Is Race: A Crisis in Black & White, which was selected to air in classrooms across the United States to have our youth understand the issue of race in America. Ms. Smith launched two national television programs. In 1993, Ms. Smith accepted an offer to become the Executive Producer for Fox Television in Los Angeles, California to launch a new “talk show” featuring actress/comedian “Mo Gaffney,” as host. The show successfully launched on a national basis in September 1993. In January of 1997, Ms. Smith joined Trinity Television Productions, New York City as Senior Producer/Program Development Specialist to specifically launch a magazine format program titled, “THE REAL BOTTOM LINE.” The program featured former Today Show host JIM HARTZ as the show host. “THE REAL BOTTOM LINE” was taped “live” with Wall Street professionals as its lunchtime audience members at the famous Trinity Church on Wall Street. The weekly guest included media mogul Michael Bloomberg, human rights leader Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, the late conservative television host and author William Buckley, daughter of Martin Luther King, Jr. Rev. Bernice King and numerous other prominent guests who shared their spiritual personal stories highlighting their paths to success.
