Congratulations to Katherine Nguyen, a 2009 LeadAmerica alum and winner of one of only 10 Rutgers-Camden $1,000 Civic Scholars Program scholarships! This scholarship allows undergraduate students to serve their communities by collaborating with faculty to devise and implement meaningful community service projects to the citizens of New Jersey.

The LeadAmerica academic summer programs tend to bring out the best in students. Three Santa Fe Catholic High School students, Ragan Jones, Alex Hall & Elizabeth (Ellie) Swengros, were challenged to use critical thinking to solve complex problems, to think on their feet and engage in debates to defend their conclusions at the LeadAmerica academic summer programs held at the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Boston.

Alix Feagaiga got a little more than she bargained for during her LeadAmerica conference in Washington, D.C.

The Trinidad, Colorado resident’s political chops were tested after being nominated to run for the US Senator Seat of her LeadAmerica conference class. This political exercise mimics a real political campaign where the nominee must choose a campaign manager & chief of staff, create a campaign video and lobby for votes.

Algonquin Regional High School Student Priscilla Sena joins the list of youth entrepreneur stories after attending LeadAmerica's Global Business and Entrepreneurship Conference in 2008. Read how she has started the first ballroom dancing club at Algonquin Regional High School using the entrepreneurship skills and confidence she gained at our conference while also stepping up her involvement with the Community Harvest Project farm. LeadAmerica to host college readiness conference for RCSD high school

BOCA RATON, FL – August 5, 2011 - LeadAmerica announced today that it will be partnering with Rochester City School District (RCSD) to ensure a more successful college experience for its students, particularly Rochester Early College International High School (RECIHS) rising sophomores. LeadAmerica is one of the nation’s educational leaders in personalized experiential learning designed to better prepare middle and high school students for their transition to college and future career. The College Readiness Summit, August 9 – 11 at the Rochester Institute of Technology, will help students focus on both college and career readiness through a three-day immersion experience that emphasizes the skills it takes to succeed in high school, college and beyond. Through a unique partnership between RCSD and LeadAmerica, the three-day College Readiness Summit comes cost-free to participating students.
