THE FIRST RULE OF SAFETY IS PREVENTION

	Established Safety Plans LeadAmerica has extensive safety plans and procedures in place. These plans are regularly reviewed and updated and are part of the mandatory training for all staff.			Small Group Supervision Model All programs maintain a 1 Staff to 15 Student ratio to help observe student activities & locations. There are 2 Senior Staff Directors at each program location.
	Student Identification Badges Students wear identification badges at all times and are nearly always under direct supervision including during off-campus excursions.			Communicable Disease Prevention LeadAmerica works closely with our conference venues to establish protocols for the prevention of influenza or other communicable illnesses.
	Staff Selection & Training Our highly skilled and experienced staff are carefully screened (including background checks), selected and trained extensively on safety procedures. Personnel remain in constant communication with one another and with our on-site office.			Student & Staff Code of Conduct Strict adherence by staff to the Staff Handbook of policies and procedures. Zero-Tolerance Policy for infractions for both staff and students (coaching-based, but can lead to dismissal if necessary)
	Pre-Established Communication Plans Emergency communication plans are in place, allowing us to communicate directly with parents via telephone in the event of an emergency. 	24/7 Communication Network Our after hours 24-hour emergency response network is there to assist families after hours, on weekends and during holidays.			Health & Wellness Briefing All students receive a "Health and Wellness Briefing" at the start of the conference to orient them to the activities contributing to a healthy communal living experience.
