On-Site Office Manager / Team

On-Site Office
Manager: This staff member reports to the Program
Director and Site Director and serves
as the general office manager on-site
at the Conference. The Office Manager
is responsible for on-site record keeping,
maintaining office supplies and Conference
materials inventory, handling student
issues as required and working with
the Program Director and Site Director
to ensure that the logistics of the
program run flawlessly.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational
skills
- Enthusiasm and
ability to work in a fast-paced
environment
- Eagerness to
work with high school age students
(experience is a plus)
- Previous
office experience a plus
- Availability
to reside on campus for the duration
of the Conference
Compensation: Includes transportation to and from
the Conference, room and board and
a monetary stipend per program. Contact

Team Leaders Team Leaders work with students throughout
the Conference, facilitate workshops
and group interaction. Team Leaders
are the "front line" in ensuring
that students have the best possible
experience at the Conference.
Responsibilities:
- Provide
supervision of assigned student
group throughout the program including
residing on-site as a Resident Advisor
in the dormitories
- Facilitate group
discussions and simulations
- Assist in
teaching the academic curriculum
- Supervise
students on field trips and other
outings
Requirements:
- College
and/or graduate studies currently
or completed
- High energy, motivated team
player with enthusiasm for working
with high school students
- Leadership
training and/or coaching/mentoring
experience
- Knowledge of the Conference
topic
- Availability to reside on campus
for the duration of the
Conference

Faculty Advisors Faculty Advisors provide supervisory
support to the Team Leaders during
group workshops and activities and
ensure that students receive a high
quality educational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist
Team Leaders in facilitating small
and large group discussions
- Supervise
Team Leaders and students on
field trips and other outings
Requirements:
- College
or Graduate degree
- Previous teaching
experience with middle school
or high school students or professional
experience in the field of study.
- High
energy, motivated team player
with enthusiasm for working with
high school students
- Leadership training
and/or coaching/mentoring experience
a plus
- Knowledge of the Conference
topic
- Availability to reside on campus
for the duration of the Conference

 Teaching Faculty Teaching Faculty are responsible for
teaching substantive topics, bringing
the core curriculum to life, and for
stimulating thinking and discussion.
They also provide supervisory support
to the Team Leaders during group workshops
and activities and ensure that students
receive a high quality educational
experience.
Responsibilities:
- Teach
the substantive academic curriculum
- Assist
Team Leaders in facilitating
small and large group discussions
- Supervise
Team Leaders and students on
field trips and other outings
Requirements:
- College or Graduate
degree
- Dynamic presenter
with previous teaching or professional
experience in the field of study
- High
energy, motivated team player with
enthusiasm for working with high
school students
- Availability to
reside on campus for the duration
of the Conference
